Your First Visit to Our Sarasota Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

Our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

You’ll find plenty of convenient parking and a well-lit parking lot when you arrive at our office. You’ll be greeted by name when you enter our office and given a short tour to get you acquainted with our facilities. Plan on spending a hour with us the first visit.

You'll meet our staff and complete our simple registration paperwork. After doing so, you’ll meet Dr. Arme.

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem. Dr. Arme will perform a Surface Spinal Electromyograph or sEMG. (click here to learn more) This is a painless, non-invasive test to tell us if our approach is right for you. Dr. Arme only accepts those cases he truly believes he can help. So if we can't help you achieve your health goals, we'll tell you right then, and we'll do our best to help you find someone who can.

Should the electromyograph or your current condition suggest spinal x-rays are necessary, you need not waste time scheduling an examination with another facility before starting treatment. We'll conveniently perform the necessary x-rays on your first visit with us.

Next, we'll briefly introduce you to the adjusting technique (or techniques) specifically chosen for your condition. Upon completion of the first treatment (if indicated) and discussion of your home care, our staff will then schedule your second visit.

Dr. Joe Asks some important questions of interest to Sarasota residents - Chiropractor Sarasota Dr. Joe Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
