Your Second Visit to Our Sarasota Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health.

During our second visit together, Dr. Arme will discuss the findings of your examination in depth. If you had x-rays taken, we view those together and answer your questions. The doctor will present your treatment schedule, taking into consideration your individual health goals.

This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Dr. Arme, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation. Please allow between 15 and 30 minutes for your second visit.

Dr. Joe Asks some important questions of interest to Sarasota residents - Chiropractor Sarasota Dr. Joe Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
